Welcome to Fletcher Reid Ltd, a local building company which has been servicing the greater Wellington region since 1989.

I completed my 4 year carpentry apprenticeship with Fletcher Development & Construction way back in the 80's.  I was one of 60 first year apprentices that started with FDC in 1981 and was internally awarded apprentice of the year for the first two years running. 

After the completion of 8000hrs, I continued with FDC for another 12 months on various projects in Wellington city before gaining further experience in residential building with a local Hutt Valley builder.  

It was after this period of time when myself and another trade certified builder went out on our own and established Fletcher Reid Ltd.

From a sticky door, to a waterwheel, to a new bathroom or kitchen, quality and customer satisfaction is what I set out to achieve.
